Modern Capital Inc. Introduces Executive Benefit Plans for Key Employee Retention, Recruitment and Rewards

January 15
02:48 2021

Charleston, SC – Modern Capital, a diversified financial services firm, announced today that they will be introducing an Executive Benefit division to their growing Broker Dealer. Executive Benefit Plans also called Supplemental Executive Retirement Plans are classified as Non-Qualified arrangements by the IRS. This means that not only can employers segregate who gets to participate in one of these programs, but also, each individual plan can be customized to maximize the purpose of offering it.

The new division at Modern Capital specializes in offering executive benefits to non-profit organizations. Considering more than 50% of the executives in the non-profit industry will retire in the next five years, the battle to retain and recruit top level talent at these organizations is at an all time high. As a result, having the ability to design meaningful executive benefit programs empowers organizations to secure the proper leadership needed to be successful for the long term.

Typical Executive Benefit designs can be funded by the Employer, Employee and/or both and include a variety of plans including:

● Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Plans – IRC 457(f) and 457(b)

● Loan Regime Split Dollar and Collateral Assignment Split Dollar – IRC 7872

● Incentive and Bonus Plans – IRC 162 and 83 Restrictive Bonus Arrangements

With more than 75 years of combined experience working with Nonprofit organizations, Modern Capital Executive Solutions’ expertise and mission is to provide tools that will optimize any organization’s talent pool while maintaining financial control.
